Sruface Ultrastructure of Cephalogonimus japonicus Ogata, 1934(Trematoda)

Abstract
|

|
This study was performed to investigate the ultra surface of Cephalogonimus japonicus in the guts of Amyda maakii in Korea.
In the results was obtained as follows
1. General feature of worm was small, flattened, sub-cylindrical shape and ventrally concave.
2. Ventral and upper one third of dorsal body surface covered by small triangular or pentagonal shape spines.
Lower of the posterior body had warned and line up the spines.
3. Posterior margin of oral sucker was evaginated muscle groups as like as ribbon.
4. Thick muscular oral sucker had round swollen and uniciliated sensory papillae on its lips. 5. And many round swollen sensory papillae and pit between tegumental spines.
